Influence New Neighborhood Public Art & Register to Vote!

Come make your voice heard in the Tree Streets in 2 ways!

  1. Help Maine-based artists design public art works you’ll be proud to have in your neighborhood, and

  2. Register to vote in the upcoming city elections (Mayor, City Council, School Committee, and more!)

Where and when? Thursday, October 7th from 3:00pm - 6:00pm at the PUG (115 Bartlett Street)

VOTER REGISTRATION DETAILS:

  • What: Register to vote, or update your voter registration, for this fall’s city elections!

  • When: 3:00 - 6:00pm

  • IF YOU ARE REGISTERING TO VOTE:

    You’ll need to bring ONE document as proof of address. This can be any of the following documents:

    • Maine State ID or Maine Driver’s license only if this document has your current address on it; OR

    • Utility bill with your name and current address; OR

    • Paystub with your name and current address; OR

    • Bank statement with your name and current address; OR

    • Other piece of government-issued mail with your name and current address

  • Why would I update my registration? Did you know that if you’ve moved, even inside of Lewiston, your new address impacts which City Councilors you vote for? Update your address so you’re sure you can vote in all of the races that impact you.

PUBLIC ART DETAILS:

  • What: Hear from 3 different Maine artists about their ideas for new public art in the Tree Streets, and share YOUR feedback and ideas with them!

  • When: One artist per hour as follows - come whenever you can!

    • 3:00pm - 3:45pm: Artist 1

    • 4:00pm - 4:45pm: Artist 2

    • 5:00pm - 4:45pm: Artist 3
